An enigmatic figure, Koho has been associated with graceful depictions of women and gardens in an elongated format. H. Merritt and N. Yamada, in their 'Guide to Modern Japanese Prints: 1900-1975'

The two seals of one character each can be read together as Koho. The print was probably published by Nishinomiya in Tokyo. The name Kiroku and the dates 1875-1925 have been associated with Koho and may be the family name and dates of the artist. He is also known as Shoda Koho.
