Chris Buzzini Paperweight Gallery


Chris Buzzini studied Fine Arts at California State University in Chico, CA. He then worked at several different artglass studios, including Orient and Flume, Bridgeton Studio, Lundberg Studios, and Correia Art Glass Studio, prior to becoming an independent studio artist in 1986. All paperweights in this gallery are in excellent condition.

Early Buzzini paperweights (Bridgeton Studio):

Buzzini Bridgeton Studio: Floral and vines paperweight (Buzzini). This early (1977) paperweight has a white flower, entwined by yellow-brown vines over concentric yellow lines, which all lie above a grey-blue ground. Signed, dated, and numbered (“The Bridgeton Studio, Buzzini, ‘77, L-108"). Diameter: 2¾". $95. (#T006)
Buzzini Bridgeton Studio: Seahorse and marine vines paperweight (Buzzini). This early torchwork paperweight is signed, dated, and numbered ("The Bridgeton Studio, Buzzini, '77, S-067") in script on base. Diameter: 2¾". $95. (#M181)
Buzzini Bridgeton Studio: Yellow butterfly paperweight (Buzzini). This early (1977) torchwork paperweight has a bright yellow butterfly and green heart-shaped leaves, brown vines, and red flowers over a pale blue ground. Signed, dated, and numbered (“Bridgeton Studio, Buzzini, ‘77, B-121"). Diameter: 2¾". $99. (#T007)
Buzzini Bridgeton Studio: Floral and vines paperweight (Wille/Buzzini). Early Bridgeton Studio torchwork paperweight with attractive coral and white flower, entwined by brown vines over concentric white cords, all over an aqua colored ground. Signed, dated, and numbered (“Bridgeton Studio, Wille, ‘77, CB66”). Does “CB” indicate this was designed by Chris Buzzini? Diameter ~2¾". $125. (#T008)
Buzzini Bridgeton Studio: Tropical fish paperweight (Buzzini). Early Chris Buzzini torchwork paperweight made while working at Bridgeton Studio in New Jersey. This seascape paperweight is signed (“Bridgeton Studio, Buzzini),dated (‘78) and numbered on base. Very minor nick on base. Diameter: 2¾”. SOLD. (#P147)

Buzzini Chris Buzzini 1991: Faceted spring bouquet paperweight. This 12 +1 faceted paperweight has two central light pink apple blossoms, a pink morning glory and its bud, sprigs of forget-me-nots and sprays of blue flowers on a clear ground. Signed/dated and made in a limited edition of 25. Diameter: 3". $2,500. (#S030)
Buzzini Chris Buzzini 1992: Floral wreath paperweight. A clear glass paperweight with a wreath of various colored flowers, including a large blue daisy, a pink morning glory and buds, a pink and white blossom, deep blue flowers, sprays of red and yellow flowers, and entwined green, yellow and brown stems. Signed/dated and made in a limited edition of 25. Diameter: 3". SOLD. (#S029).
