Royal Copenhagen antique "Blue Fluted" large platter. Truly antique platter in the Blue Fluted pattern, that is well marked. Note the ring on the base, which one does not find on 20th century pieces and the marks (only 3 wavy lines and a couple of other marks). I am not sure of the exact age, but was told it dates to the early years of Royal Copenhagen (pre-1800). Length: 14½"; width: 11½". Condition is excellent. SOLD. (#HT033) |

Royal Copenhagen antique "Blue Fluted" soup tureen. Large Blue Fluted tureen that has marks on both the lid and base that date it to 1889-1923; it is also numbered 1/214. Has an elaborate deep blue finial and is also decorated inside the bowl. The piece is in very good condition except for some damage on the top side of one of the handles, which is barely visible when the lid is in place. The pictures depict the damage viewed from both sides of the handle. In the combination picture, the top one shows the upper side of the handle and the lower one the underside. The lid has a small (few mm) glaze pop on it, that was apparently made when fired. This is an extremely hard item to find in this pattern and is a wonderful large piece of antique Royal Copenhagen.
